Dom O'Grady
Dom O'Grady (born 1984) is an American professional mixed martial artist currently competing in the Lightweight division. He is the former King of the Cage Welterweight and Lightweight champion. He has also competed for the Bellator Fighting Championships and is currently competing for Pancrase in Japan. (bio) )〕 ==Background== O'Grady attended Grosse Pointe South High School in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan and then attended Wayne State University. O'Grady was often a victim of bullying as a child before he found martial arts and MMA. O'Grady was a member of the U.S. Sambo Team, winning a world championship, as well as the Swiss Open Sambo Tournament in 2006. O'Grady is also a black belt in judo and won three state titles, two in Michigan and one in Ohio. In submission wrestling, O'Grady was a runner-up in the Canadian Open.
